• Open They are usually chosen for standard windows, since the maximum width of the canvas is 180 cm and the height is 2 meters. For plastic windows curtains can be mounted in the opening and on top of the slope.

The simplest way to reduce the fabric is double hemming, with which you can hide up to 30 cm of fabric without cutting.

The shortening process itself consists of several stages.

• The edge is trimmed first. This should be done carefully, otherwise the rush can lead to the formation of deformation and damage to the fabric. Initially, the edges are processed on the sides, then the curtain is bent, well ironed and stitched.
• Next to the top of the future curtains attach the braid, bending the edges of the canvas by 2-3 cm. The tape is applied from the wrong side of the product and sewn. The number of stitches in this case depends on the width of the braid. The bottom of the roller blinds should be processed by the method of double hemming.
• The completion of the work is drapery.

Often, roller blinds have a large width that does not fit the size of the window. To solve a similar problem, it is enough to bring the canvas into an unfolded position; to do this, remove the plugs from the shafts. In addition, the rolls are equipped with special weighting, they also need to be removed. Then, using a pencil and a ruler, markings are applied to the fabric, and a stationery knife or scissors is used to undercut the excess edges. The top tube is removed in such a way that a small stock of 6-8 cm remains.
