Plaster can be created on a different natural basis, because of the composition it is possible to create any type of coating with a suitable texture, as well as protective layers of wall decoration.

Basic elements of the composition:

  • limestone;
  • minerals;
  • silicate compounds;
  • silicone and its derivatives;
  • polymer base.

      As a result, modern flock design can be obtained, which is achieved by using the content of a special filler in the form of plates of different colors and shades. When using phosphorescent elements, a luminescence and a shiny, smooth surface is provided. But the material can be dull.

      Through multicolor blends, you can reproduce multicolor decorative coatings or a particular relief with excellent detail.

      High demand and the main achievement of Italian manufacturers - traditional Venetian plaster. This product is multifaceted in its functionality - it is able to reproduce any natural stone, to give the surface "aged", a noble look or classic gloss.

      Famous San Marco Series

      Products of the Italian manufacturer is represented by a number of high-quality Venetian and textured mixtures.

      Each type has its own characteristics and subtleties in use:

      • Stucco Veneziano plaster Made on the basis of acrylic and is mainly intended to create a sophisticated, glossy surface with an antique effect, which eliminates the use of wax. Some of its variants make it possible to create marbled interiors with a general classical style. There are more than a thousand colors and shades of such material. Plaster can be applied to any base, including convex, curved, with a complex geometry.
      • The luxurious and sophisticated look of the interior and exterior walls will help give plaster "Marmorino Classico". The product is distinguished by a special wear resistance to temperature differences and more than 800 different shades of marble.
      • Series "Markopolo" created by water based and acrylic. A distinctive quality of the coating is the roughness with the effect of metallic luster (gold, silver, bronze, copper). Stucco is ideal for rooms made in the modern minimalist style and hi-tech.
      • Decorative material "Kadoro" has its own characteristics. The water base allows you to create a soft, silky surface with a bright, voluminous ebb. Suitable for a traditional classic interior, mainly used for interior walls or partitions. The mixture fits perfectly on concrete and plaster, mineral base, old paint. This coating can be washed, remove defects from it is not difficult.
      • Matte coatings are recreated with plaster "Kadoro Velvet". It is an elegant and sophisticated material with a light pearl gloss based on acrylic resin. Warm and cold colors, complemented by mother of pearl, can decorate the living room, office and even a bedroom.

      The textured San Marco blends, unlike the Venetian ones, do not require careful leveling and work well in adverse climatic conditions; moreover, any material has good adhesion with most bases.

      The technique of applying decorative compositions

      The plaster of Italian manufacturers is notable for its simple use. The exception is the famous "Venetian", under which it is necessary to maximize the surface.

      The workflow consists of several steps:

      • preparation of the base, including the removal of the old coating;
      • any irregularities, cracks and chips should be repaired;
      • with a wide area of damage it is better to carry out a full plaster;
      • when the level drops more than 5 mm, reinforcement is used;
      • Priming of the surface is carried out with the composition recommended by the manufacturer;
      • plastering, plaster, cement, concrete and plasterboard;
      • for the application of the solution will need tuft and rubber rollers, spatulas, scallops and other improvised tools.

      Professionals are advised to use ordinary filler for surface treatment - so you can significantly save on the cost of expensive coatings.

      In many ways, the quality of texture depends on the methods of applying plaster - it can be horizontal and vertical, circular movements, short and long strokes.

      Of course, deciding to use Italian material for the first time, it is better to use the help of a professional master who has the skills to deal with such a coating. Especially when it comes to the Venetian composition. The technology of its application is multi-stage and has its own nuances.

      Features of the use of Venetian plaster

      This material contains stone dust in its composition, which has a different fraction size - a coarser and coarse grinding gives the effect of treated stone, while the fine is a barely different ornament. In addition, the Venetian composition seems to glow from the inside, especially in the presence of mineral constituents. It is this kind of plaster that is distinguished by increased resistance and long-term preservation of an attractive appearance even when exposed to ultraviolet radiation and high humidity.

      Working with such a mixture requires accuracy and patience, since each layer of plaster must be applied on a previously dried surface.And there can be from three to ten such layers, and the more there are, the more noticeable is the internal gloss.

      Since the material is virtually transparent in quality, the substrate must be perfectly smooth and even, and the application must be uniform. It is necessary to work with a narrow stainless steel tool, so as not to leave untidy streaks on the walls. After drying, which occurs within 24 hours, a special wax can already be applied to achieve additional shine.

      Unlike external facade surfaces exposed to adverse weather conditions, internal walls do not have to be restored once every three years, it is enough to care for them with ordinary water. Do not use aggressive detergents, as this coating may darken and acquire a dull hue.

      Modern construction products from Italy allow the use of a wide variety of natural textures and a huge amount of color shades to create unique interiors, therefore, it can satisfy even the most demanding requirements and personal style preferences.
