Types of structures and their applications

Under the brand Teplolux several types of warm floors are produced.

Cable systems

The company produces 4 basic models in various versions using single-core and two-core conductors:

  • Green Box. The electric floor on the coil (to simplify installation) is applied under the tile on the areas of complex configurations and layouts. The product is reliably protected by a special screen of copper braid. It is installed in the tile solution.
  • Profiroll. It has a lifetime warranty period, intended for the rapid heating of unheated areas. The ruler has 18 sectional sizes, and therefore it is convenient for selecting the conductor of the necessary power. The thickness of the cable conductor is 5.7-6.5 mm. High-quality conductor protection and tightness of connections provide a special coupling. The circuit is universal, practical and reliable.
  • Standart. It is an additional heating circuit that can heat up to 30 square meters. m square.Available in single-core and two-core versions. The scheme is intended for residential, office and industrial premises. The diameter of the conductor is about 3 mm, which does not lead to a significant increase in the floor of the ceiling during installation.
  • Elite. It is used as the main variant of heating, in which a two-core shielded cable is used. It is installed under any type of flooring. Not recommended for rooms with high humidity.

The company also developed a series of heating devices, classified by features purpose:

  • Mini. Single conductor systems for heating small rooms. Thin floor heating makes it possible to reduce the height of the screed to a minimum. Installation is simple: heating mats are cut into pieces of the desired size, then the floor is lined with them. Connection is provided without additional electrical wire. The maximum power is 150 W / m.
  • Tropix. The floor is 3 mm thick with a strong conductor. It has a large heat transfer and a significant heating area. Mounted on the grid with adhesive base.
  • Profi. Floor with two-core conductor, made in the form of a mat, reliable and easy to use.
  • Express ("Express") - mobile system. It is placed under a dry coating (linoleum, carpet or parquet). It is a thin film (about 1 mm in thickness).

Heating mats

Heating mats are easy to install and operate, do not require calculations. It is enough to unfold them, arrange and fix them with the help of special glue or tie.

This production is performed in two basic versions that differ in their characteristics:

  • ProfiMat. Scheme with two-core conductor mounted on a protective glass mesh. The product is mounted in a coupler. Universally applied.
  • Tropix. A very common heating scheme with a capacity of 200 W / sq. m is able to heat unheated areas. The scope is wide: the system can be mounted even in pools and saunas. The productivity of the product is maintained at a temperature of –10 degrees.

Infrared (IR) film heaters

The principle of operation is based on the use of infrared radiation, which heats the surface of the objects placed on top of the system.

There are several modified series of Slim Heat, differing in technical parameters:

  • IR film floors with a film with a thickness of 0.34 mm of two types: with a capacity of 150 or 220 W / sq. m, intended for heating areas from 1 to 10 square meters. m. Allowed laying under the floor. It is not allowed to mount on the screed. Can be used as a basic heat source. The product kit includes a control panel, a thermal sensor, and also connecting terminals. The scheme is suitable for domestic and office space, as well as areas with significant heat loss;
  • mobile floors Express. They contain a thin heating conductor mounted in a nylon carpet. These rugs are laid on top of the floor covering. Products conveniently fold and easily transferred. Able to heat a heated area to a temperature of 30 degrees in one hour.

Components of the heating system

A typical installation kit usually contains the following:

  • heating sections - a part of the cable of the established length, having the equipped assembly ends for receiving a power supply. The advantage of mats that use a two-core cable is obvious. It consists in the fact that cables can be connected at one end of the section.The width of such a mat is different in different versions, which contributes to the convenient choice of mats in accordance with the configuration of the heated area;
  • mounting tape to facilitate installation of the system;
  • temperature control is used to regulate energy consumption. It determines the degree of power supply to the elements in accordance with the level of their warm-up. Usually, the control panel includes several executive modules connected to the heating elements;
  • insulation material from Teplolux, which allows to reduce the level of energy consumption, reducing the rate of cooling of the floor. Good thermal insulation can save 30%. When using the system as a base, the use of solid polystyrene foam with a sheet thickness of 30 mm is recommended. When using the scheme as an additional option of heating enough foam materials with a thickness of 3-10 mm;
  • Protective corrugated tube for temperature sensor. Thermal sensor is usually purchased separately.

Installation rules

The technology of assembly work, if briefly stated, is reduced to the following operations:

  • preparation and cleaning of the floor surface;
  • alignment of its surface (if necessary);
  • laying insulation;
  • uniform (according to the project) mats distribution over the entire floor surface;
  • temperature sensor connection;
  • installation of a temperature regulator;
  • powering the heated floor with a separate line from the switchboard to the individual UZO;
  • connection of the whole system. Check the reliability of connections;
  • Fill the screed.

After all work has been completed, the system should be turned on at least 30 days in advance, since the screed must be sufficiently strong. This mounting scheme fits almost any type of Teplolux scheme. Preparatory activities include checking all the parameters of the scheme and their compliance with the designated installation location, and verification of compliance with the following rules:

  • the installation of heating sections is performed in places where massive furniture is not located;
  • To use the circuit as an additional source of heating, its specific power is 110-120 W per square meter. m;
  • in the case of installation of the basic scheme, the specific heating power should be at the level of 130-150 W per square meter. m, and the area correspond to approximately 70% of the total heating area;
  • for installation of devices prepare the grooves for laying the wiring.The control unit is mounted at a distance of at least 15 cm from the floor. Before starting, the connection scheme is checked by the tester, it is configured;
  • The efficiency of the circuit is tested after installing the cable, laying the tie, and installing the floor covering.

The sequence and rules of installation are explained in detail in the instruction manual, according to which it is possible to adjust the heating system. For the smooth operation of the system for a long time is important during its installation, adhere to the following rules:

  • do not move along a resistive cable to avoid damage;
  • air bubbles are not allowed near the heating conductor, as this may cause it to overheat;
  • after installation, test measurements of the system resistance are made;
  • you can not turn on the scheme to complete drying of the screed.

  • during normal operation, the device maintains a temperature of 28 degrees (settingthermostat). The required parameters of the thermostat are set using programming. The duration of the product from Teplolux is significantly reduced by conductor overheating, and therefore should be included in the scheme of the thermostat, which implements the temperature control system.

The electricity consumption of the floor Teplolux is approximately at the level of 150-200 W / h per 1 sq. Km. m square. Energy consumption can be reduced to 70-100 W by installing control devices.

  • An often problematic aspect of self-assembly is the installation of a temperature sensor. The reasons for this are, as a rule, forgetfulness or a desire to save. Incorrect installation of the sensor is fraught with damage to the heating conductor;
  • It is important to remember that the single-conductor heating conductor is used mainly as an additional heating option;
  • If you detect possible malfunctions in the system, turn it off immediately by disconnecting it from the power source It is forbidden to use the wrong device.

One of the possible and frequent malfunctions of Teplolux products are failures in the correct operation of the circuit.The standard heating time of the device is approximately 1-2 hours after it is turned on. At the first start-up of the device, the space will warm up during the day. Checking the operation of the device is performed by measuring the resistance value of the tester at the ends of the conductor.

Deviations from the standards should not be more than 5%. The company produces all the necessary equipment for heating systems, so the use of products from other manufacturers, both during installation and during operation, entails various types of system malfunctions.

You can learn about device faults from the tester's testimony. Usually, the system becomes fully operational after an adequate replacement of the failed elements. In order to reduce the likelihood of damage to the device, you must strictly adhere to the rules of installation and operation. Only in this case, the device can work properly for at least 20 years.
