Bulk floor "Vetonit": technical characteristics

 Bulk floor Vetonit: technical characteristics

In the market of building materials are currently represented various types of products for leveling floors. One of the most popular ways is to fill a self-leveling floor.

The company Weber, a subsidiary of the French Saint-Gobain, is engaged in the manufacture of various kinds of dry building mixtures. Among the products presented in the product catalog is Weber. Vetonit - the mix applied as the main basic layer, under any kind of a floor covering.

Characteristics of the composition

The mixture is made on the basis of cement with the addition of limestone or fine-grained sand as a filler.Depending on the further operation, plasticizers, substances for improving the fluidity and coupling with the base are added to the mixture.

The size of the granules - from 0.3 to 3 mm, depending on the substance and type of self-leveling floor. The product is packaged in 5-25 kg, in bags of two layers - paper and plastic. An open mixture can be stored for up to a year without losing its basic properties.

In order to dilute 1 kg of the mixture, you will need 160-300 ml of water. The prepared composition begins to harden after 15 minutes, after 2-3 hours it fully seizes.

Consumption per 1m2 varies depending on the layer and type of floor:

  • A layer thickness of 1 mm will require about 1, 6 kg of the mixture;
  • Layer thickness is 5mm - 7.5 kg / m2;
  • Layer thickness of 10 mm - 15 kg / m2.

To reduce consumption, it is enough to prime the rough floor before pouring.

Technical characteristics allow to work with a self-leveling floor at a temperature range from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius, which is why the tool is not suitable for external work.

Do not allow drafts in the room during the implementation of the fill and during the day after that. Humidity should be at least 50%.

The minimum layer thickness is 1 mm, the maximum is 25 cm.A slight shrinkage of the layer from 0.5 to 0.8 mm per meter is possible, finally it occurs after complete drying after 28 days.

Types of self-leveling floor

Currently, the manufacturer’s catalog contains 8 types of Vetonit self-leveling floor. Separate products for the base layer and topcoat, there is also one option 2 in 1. They are compatible with underfloor heating, simple and automated. Any of them is applicable in rooms with high humidity.

Universal Blends

Vetonit fast 4000

Creating a layer from 5 to 80 mm at a time. The mixture is made according to the technology of two in one - screed and finish. On such a surface it is good to lay common flooring, for example, laminate.

The tensile strength is 18 MPa, which allows the mixture to be used for the repair of premises with moderate maneuverability. Compress the mixture after drying to 0.4 mm / m. Operation time - 30 minutes, sets after 4 hours.

Vetonit 4100

Self-leveling floor with high strength, does not crack under strong impact. Alignment layer - from 2 to 30 mm. Waterproof and non-flammable.

The ideal base for laminate, floorboard or tile. Maintains heating from a warm floor.Designed for use in apartments, shopping centers, offices and off-road areas.

Perhaps mechanized application. Use time - 30 minutes, after 40 minutes the floor can withstand walking, the second layer is applied in a day. After a week or more, you can lay the final coating.

Bending resistance is less than 6 MPa, consumption is 1.5 kg per m2. Compression - less than 0.5 mm.

Options for the finishing layer

Vetonit 3000

The coating layer - up to 5 mm, creates an absolutely flat surface. A distinctive feature - a filler in the form of finely ground marble. Used for local repair of cracks no more than 10 mm deep.

Only manual application is possible. The advantage is economical use: for the millimeter layer is enough 1.5 kg of powder per square meter. meter.

Vetonit finish level

Alignment with a mirror effect, under the floorboard, natural parquet or laminate. Work with it exclusively by hand.

Suitable for premises of various purposes. The ultimate strength is 18 MPa, the bending strength is 4 MPa, the coating decreases by about 1 mm / m.

Vetonit 3100

Option to create a smooth floor without flaws. Suitable for embedding cracks up to a depth of 20 mm.

Cultivation and filling can be made manually and special mechanical tools.

Maintains moderate loads and low permeability in the room. Consumption - 1.6 kg for a layer thickness of 1 mm.

Special blends

Vetonit Fast level

The main difference - quick-hardening composition. The thickness of the cast layer is from 3 to 60 mm. The solution does not harden for about 40 minutes, after 3 hours it freezes to the extent that it allows walking on it.

Flooring can be put in a day. Drawing only manual. It can be used as a base for any flooring.

It is possible to fill in on a draft floor from concrete, plaster or cement and sand structure.

Maintains a moderate load. Withstand mechanical stress - 15 MPa, bending strength - 3 MPa, floor shrinkage up to 0.4 mm per meter.

Vetonit strong

Reinforced floor, reinforced with fiber, which actively protects against cracks. Convenient due to good flowability and self-leveling formula.

Suitable for a layer of 10-50 mm. The tool is made screed any bases, including monolithic and floating.

The main purpose is the repair of a wooden floor, bases of bitumen. Further actions to repair the premises should begin no earlier than 1 week, work with tiles - in 3-7 days.

Vetonit 4350

Suitable for soundproof floors. It has increased resistance to bending, its strength is less than 4 MPa, it is resistant to cracking and wear from any external influences due to fiber reinforcement.

Perhaps both manual and mechanical application. Layer thickness - from 10 to 50 mm. Types of screeds: on the separating layer, floating with heat and sound insulation. Compressive strength - less than 16 MPa, shrinkage - less than 0.3 mm after complete drying.

Benefits

The self-leveling floor from Weber has many advantages, which makes it competitive and attractive to buyers.

Among them:

  • Strength. Suitable for both apartments and for areas with high traffic, such as shopping centers, parking lots or places of public catering.
  • Fast freeze. Filling takes no more than 3 hours, a day can be done grinding.
  • Moisture resistance. Presents options for wet areas: kitchen, bathroom, toilet.
  • Minimal shrinkage.
  • Low consumption and increased flowability.
