• sliding systems transmit more sound than swinging ones.

Before you glue the noise insulation, it is important to ensure that the door itself produces fewer sounds. For this:

• by changing the baseboard, reduce the distance to the wall;
• packing the carriages close the gap separating the door from the ceiling;
• brush seals platbands and slats make the gap between the door and the wall more narrow.

Noise isolation in the apartment with his own hands is divided into internal and external:

- inside are used in the course of soft and bulk materials (mineral wool, foam rubber, foam plastic, vibroplast, vizomat);

In the work you can use different raw materials. Soundproofing the room using polystyrene is easy enough, in addition, it retains heat quite well. A relatively affordable synthetic winterizer serves for a long time if its layer is sufficiently dense. Mineral wool is better to close the gap, but you should not use it as the main sound insulating agent (due to the risk of shrinkage). Foam rubber is most often used to close joints and outer plating of wood.canvases.

If you do not want to glue the door with sound insulation, you will have to upholster the fabric with padding polyester or polystyrene. Regardless of the option chosen, the layer should be quite thick. It should be borne in mind: no matter what methods are used, sound insulation of doors gives a good result only if the walls, floor, ceiling and windows are well protected. The use of foamed sheet and rolled polyurethane helps to extinguish only the percussion noises, but not the voices of people or animals. Do not buy noise protection films: it is a waste of money, the minimum effect will be noticeable only when using designs from 4 cm and thicker.

Somewhat reduce the intensity of noise sealing rubber gaskets, which are mounted on the perimeter of the box. Weakly dampen the sound, but warmly retain the laths, insulating heels and installed in the bottom of the brush. Izolon is better than foam rubber (denser), but keep in mind that you will have to pay more money for it. To attach any sound-absorbing coatings you need to use only those adhesives that are specifically designed to solve this problem.
