The features of the vapor barrier film "Yutafol N 110"

Very often in the construction of houses there is a need to ensure the insulation of the roof and prevent the penetration of excess moisture. It is for such purposes and designed vapor barrier film "Yutafol N 110".

The film “Yutafol N 110” is produced in two types: “Standard” and “Special”, which differ somewhat in their characteristics and application. Both species are of high quality and a lot of positive feedback.

Yutafol N 110 Standard is very tenacious, long lasting. It is made of three layers of reinforcing mesh, soldered and laminated on both sides with plastic wrap and is an effective barrier to steam.

In addition, the strength provides polymer mesh, consisting of twisted polymer filaments.To create such a material in the production conditions, a special technology of pressing is used. Reinforced base does not allow to stretch the material and retains its shape and size, does not loose and easily stretches.

The film “Yutafol N 110 Specal” is characterized by the fact that it consists of a special self-extinguishing reagent. Because of this, the coating has enhanced flame retardant properties. Used in the production of high quality raw material of the film ensures a long service life, protection against corrosion, rot and mold.

When working with Yutafol films, it is necessary to take into account that only special connecting tapes can be used for their fastening. You can not connect them using adhesive tape with a polyurethane or acrylic layer.

For the production of fastening and interconnection, the company produces special adhesive tapes.s:

• Yutafol SP 1 It is a double-sided adhesive tape, the most convenient when combined with protruding parts for all elements of the roof. High-quality tape successfully secures the film to wood and metal structures due to the factthat it includes a special butyl rubber. It is also used for sealing corner joints.
• Yutafol JV AL is a single-sided tape consisting of synthetic rubber, additionally coated with a special reflective aluminum layer.

The choice of one or another tape depends on the exact places where it is necessary to use them, and which particular vapor barrier is supposed to be fixed. The mounting process is quite simple, and for its implementation, in places where it is necessary, it is recommended to use a hammer stapler.

Prior to the start of fixing the vapor barrier, it is recommended to treat the wooden parts of the structure with antiseptics and dry the applied layer. After that, the film is unwound and cut in accordance with the required dimensions of the part of the structure to be covered. Initially, it is fixed with the help of special nails with a wide cap. Attached to wood, plastic, metal or glass using special tapes.

Steam insulation films “Yutafol” have high operational and technical characteristics. Among them are the following:
