Any parquet board is a floor covering made by gluing two, three or more layers of wooden segments (planks) perpendicular to each other. The basis of quality products is wood.Tarkett parquet, in accordance with the principles of the company, is made only from high-quality raw materials that meet sanitary and environmental standards. Preferred wood species - oak and ash, there are wenge, beech, acacia and others. The selected tree is initially processed by high temperature, about 200 degrees Celsius. This is done in order to increase wear resistance and prevent resizing of the board in the process of exposure to external factors.

The floorboard has a three-layer look. Initially, all three layers were made of the same wood material. However, at present the first two are made from inexpensive wood species, usually pine or spruce, they are stronger and harder. The use of such types of wood has increased the shelf life of the board and reduce its cost. The third top layer, as in the past, is made of expensive rocks, because they have a pronounced structure, look great in light and dark variations, give a noble look to the room. The face layer is ground to a perfectly flat surface and treated with protective agents.

The company produces single-strip and three-strip parquet. The first one is more expensive, since a monolithic plank of wood is used to make the upper layer. Such technology when laying a monolithic covering imitates a floor from the massif of a tree.
