Fences or railings for stairs are constructed from a variety of components and parts, ordered by the dimensions of the span that must be barred, as well as individual wishes for external qualities.

• Main parts (handrail). Basically, the handrail is made in the form of a pipe, the most convenient size of the diameter of which is five centimeters.

• Mounts - holders. These parts are necessary for the installation of glasses and rails.

By the personal order of the customer, the whole structure can be made in accordance with the preferences of the customer. It can have a variety of design and configuration. Often order different curly fragments of anodized metal for inserts in the gaps between the supporting elements.

Initially, it is necessary to calculate where it is necessary to install the supporting parts. Next is the marking in the steps or the landing. At the places of marks, suitable recesses are made - holes for mounting balusters.The diameter of the grooves should be eighteen millimeters, and a depth of approximately ten centimeters. In a situation where the surface of the stairs is lined with something, before you make holes, you need to carefully drill the finish to avoid cracks. The thickness of the finishing material is taken into account when determining the depth of the grooves produced.

Drilled holes should be well smeared with glue and screw in anchorswhich are intended to fix the supporting elements. After that, they are twisted back and the grooves are again smeared with glue. When the glue is completely spread over the entire surface of the cavity, the anchors are re-screwed. In the screwed anchors it is necessary to drill holes for mounting screws. At the base of the support parts are also made holes for screws.

In the upper area of ​​the support elements, special mounts are mounted to install the handrail. For installation, drill holes depending on the size of the mount; the diameter can be from three and a half to four millimeters. After installing the hinge, the supports are inserted into the recesses on the anchors and secured with screws.In order to achieve greater strength and confidence, the installation site is auxiliary processed with adhesive composition.

Then install the handrails and lintels. The rails need to be installed with fixtures designed for this purpose, they may require holes in the support parts for them.
