  • tilt the distribution box;
  • reattach the trim;
  • wait for representatives of the gas service.

Important! Diagnostic data has two levels. The second is available exclusively for specialists and only after entering the password. To know what errors need to be corrected, it is necessary to examine the proprietary error codes.

Both single-circuit and double-circuit boilers, which consume a lot of gas and produce extremely hot smoke, do not need to be repaired. It is necessary to clean and wash the upper heat exchanger. With a small hydraulic resistance, the company advises to press the feed valve. In the case of the complete absence of a spark, it is not worth spending time cleaning the gas valve. The problem with the probability of almost 100% is related to the system electronic board.If the AtmoTEC Plus boiler changes pressure abruptly when the temperature changes, pump the expansion tank.

What do the error codes mean?

    In many cases, there is no need to disassemble the device or guess what the problem is. All necessary information is provided to the consumer error codes. But they need to know. The symbol beginning with S indicates a certain status of the device. And the codes started with F show some kind of malfunction.

          When you first see this or that conditional signal, you should not be afraid. You need to try to restart the electronics. Only when the same code reappears, special measures need to be taken. F0, as well as F71, indicates that the circuit supplying the thermal sensor measuring the temperature of the heat transfer medium is broken.

          We need to find out such things as:

          • whether the sensor is operational;
          • is the plug contact good;
          • Is the wiring safe?

          F1 demonstrates that the temperature meter on the return line has broken. F2 says that the work of the thermal fill sensor is broken. When the F3 signal appears, it is easy to understand that the circuit of the same sensor, which is already responsible for controlling the drive, is damaged.You can see the F5 error only in Atmo wall boilers, and it means that the connection with the outdoor smoke removal indicator has disappeared. Code number 6 declares a failure in the wiring of the internal sensor placed in the outlet.

          According to code number 10, the specialists identify short circuits of the supply thermistors. F11, F13 show the same state, but only for the return stroke thermistor and the hotstart measuring device, respectively. Two errors are characteristic of a closed external recognizer for the removal of gaseous products - F15 and F16. The F20 code indicates that the system is down due to excessive heat. And the F22 talks about another point - not enough water. A similar picture is indicated by the code F23, which is often associated with a malfunction of sensors, pumps, or with poor performance.

          Signal No. 24 indicates that not only the level of the coolant has decreased, but also its heating has increased significantly, and the pressure has decreased. F26 means that a failure has occurred in the gas valve. And it is also worth suspecting a mistake in connecting the servomotor. F27 lights up if a flame is detected with the fuel valve closed.More seriously F28, this code appears when it is impossible to start the burner.

          It is necessary to control the meter, valve, pressure measuring relay, and the main module.

          F29 is shown when fire extinguishes due to gas interruptions. It remains only to wait for the restoration of his approach. If waiting is delayed, you will have to contact the service responsible for the supply of natural gas. It is also helpful to check if the boiler is grounded properly. Only in condensing boilers there is an error F32, F37. She reports that the fan does not rotate as it should at a particular moment (other models show this with the code F38).

          The TurboTEC model has a special error that is not found in other devices - №33. It is easy to find out from it that the relay measuring pressure does not work. The F36 signal arrives when the draft meter detects its weakness and the penetration of gaseous combustion products into the boiler room. And F42 is displayed if the work of the resistor responsible for conditional coding is broken. When the signal No. 49 arrives, it is necessary to check the status of the eBus information bus.

          About the misconfiguration of the combustion process states the code 53.On signal 54, you need to deal with the elimination of failures in the supply of fuel, while it is necessary to consistently open the valve, increase the pressure and evaluate visually the condition of the locking valve. Code 56 indicates a violation of the main parts of the unit that burns fuel. If connecting the plug doesn’t fix the problem, check the valve. And code 57 is issued when setting the “Comfort” mode with erroneous adjustment. And also it is worth suspecting that the ignition electrode has undergone corrosion.

          If the trimmed parts continue to work poorly, you will have to install a completely new part.

          F61 can illustrate either a shorted cable, a broken circuit, or a fuel valve malfunction. The signal F62 determines the delayed shutdown of the valve, caused by a poor response of the control electrode. The output on the display of the figure 63 denotes the so-called breakdown of the EEPROM, which is fixed exclusively by the service centers. The violations demonstrated by the numbers 64 and 67 indicate that the electronic “filling” of the boiler is damaged or the sensors have failed. A relatively minor problem is the error 70, which occurs when the step of entering the code of a new boiler is missed after installing a removable display and electronic components.

          The F72 index allows to recognize violations in thermal sensors of the line, which are responsible for the flow or located on the return circuit. F75 notifies the owners of the boiler that even starting the pump does not help to raise the pressure. We'll have to release the air accumulated in the system, adjust the settings of the bypass and expansion tanks. F35 is a kind of "partner" of the 36th error.

          This error occurs with the following malfunctions:

          • if the air or gas outlet is blocked;
          • when due to weather conditions or due to violations of the structural nature of thrust violated;
          • with abnormal ventilation;
          • in case of overheating of the boiler room;
          • if the boiler is too close to the wall.

          F76 lights up on the display when the primary radiator is too hot. And F77 says that the bypass valve or the pump responsible for condensation is too bad. F51 signals tilting and obviously improperly working chimney. At the same time, the signals 80 and 91 immediately indicate a short circuit in the sensor of the secondary radiator. If errors 81 and 91 are combined, there is a malfunction in the loading pump.

          • release the air;
          • check for cable, sensor and impeller failure;
          • find out if the heat exchanger is dirty, clean it if necessary.

          F83 notifies of an incorrect measurement made by the thermistors on the receiver and return lines. Simply add the coolant or adjust the placement of the thermistor. Codes 84 and 85 also indicate incorrect information from thermistors, but you need to fix the problems differently — swap the blocks or eliminate other mounting defects. The deformation of F93 demonstrates that burning is not correct. When cleaning the venturi does not help, you need to change the nozzle to a more correct apparatus. Defect Con notifies that the exchange of information with the control equipment is broken, you will have to contact the service organization.

          The Fxx code tells about software failures, 5ER is not so much a mistake in the usual sense of the word, as a reminder of the need for maintenance.

          Vaillant boilers may also issue intermediate messages that are not errors. So, S0 – S8 tell consumers about the running heating mode.When the boiler is preparing hot water, signals S10 – S17 are shown on the display.

          Other status signs are as follows:

          • 30 - external thermostat blocked heating;
          • 31 - the system is transferred to the summer format and cannot heat the house;
          • 33 - anti-freeze protection works, the system is locked for 1/3 hour.

          It so happens that the heating seems to be running, but the regulator requires the boiler to operate at +20 degrees. In this case, signal 36 is displayed on the screen. But code 41 says that too high nominal pressure develops inside. S42 can be displayed when the burner is not working, when the valve on the outlet is activated or the condensation pump is damaged. S51 is a state where gaseous products of combustion enter the room.

          Error 53 is detected when there is a shortage of water. The boiler will correct the situation or wait for help from the owner in this for 150 seconds. S54 means the system waits for action for 20 minutes. There is no reason for alarm when the status of S98, 96 or 97, as these are signs of work in test mode.

          It is possible to minimize the appearance of all the listed problems if the boiler is inspected in a timely manner and maintenance is carried out.

          Setup and Management

          The handling of Vaillant boilers means competent transferring them from one mode to another.           If the pumping of the tank does not give results or they remain too short a time, it is necessary to inspect the tank. Often its outer shell depressurizes and lets air through. But even more often, the working capacity of spools is broken, which are also beginning to be cheated.

          The swap of the tank itself is carried out in the following stages:

          • wrap boiler, supply and return valves;
          • open the drain fitting to full drain;
          • connect the pump unit through the spool, in any case not blocking the fitting.

          Any type of pump is useful for work; You can take the car and gauge too from the car. Air is pumped by pump until the outflow of water from the pouring nozzle is stopped. Next, release the air and repeat its introduction, continuously monitoring the readings of the pressure gauge. It should show 1.1–1.3 bar, more accurate information is provided in the technical documentation. Now it is possible to close the pouring nozzle, open all the taps turned before, feed the boiler in a regular manner to 1.2–1.5 bar, and then start heating.

          It is especially important to control the internal pressure if the house or other structure is visited only periodically. It is no secret that the stability of power supply is now far from ideal. And if the power stops, the boiler stops working, so the pressure inside the tank may drop due to cooling lower than the boiler needs. Even after renewing the power supply, the boiler cannot warm up the house, as soon the uncontrolled house presents a sad sight - pipes and radiators torn from ice everywhere. Therefore, pressure monitoring in the expansion tank is required to maintain constantly. No less bad is the situation in which the pressure level is continuously increasing. Of course, a well-chosen and correctly installed safety valve corrects the case to some extent, but it is better not to rely on it, since it is still rather an emergency measure. It is worth remembering always that pressure control deserves increased attention.

          Causes of problems

          In order for any feedback on boilers of this brand to be favorable, great attention must be paid to the prevention of malfunctions and their elimination.It should be noted that not all problems are designated by codes, some arise without warning. A situation where the boiler, in general, does not turn on, may appear due to incorrect connection of the “zero” and “phase”.

          Also, the problem may be related to the following:

          • air, abundantly mixed with gas;
          • low pressure in the pipeline;
          • grounding errors;
          • torn cables;
          • illiterate connection to the pipeline.

          When there is no hot water at all or the boiler heats it badly, it is required to assess the condition of the duct sensor. Sometimes it becomes polluted, the liquid moves, but the automation does not give a command to the fan to blow the firebox and inflate the fire. Having released water from the hot contour of the water supply system, they achieve saturation of the pipes with air. Following this, you need to sharply unlock and twist the water taps in front of the boiler, so that due to pressure drops to remove dirt from the fan or sensor. If the pressure increases or falls unpredictably, while hot water drips from the cold faucet, damage to the secondary heat exchanger can be assumed.

          Sometimes the boiler buzzes when turned on - no need to be afraid to open it. It is required to see that no tubes or other parts are in contact with the housing.Then there will be no problems with extraneous noises.

          You should also check the following reasons:

          • air saturation of pipes;
          • oxygen content in water;
          • scaling;
          • difficulties in the operation of the fan.
